Business License

In order to obtain a business license, please print the application from our website. Fill it out completely and have it notarized. Return to City Hall with correct license fee, copy of driver's license, and a copy of liability insurance if applicable.

Businesses located outside the city limits will still need to fill out the application and provide a copy of your business license from the city/county where the business is located. Out of area businesses will only be assessed a fee if they do not have a current business license in their own city/county.

If you need the forms notarized, please do not sign forms in advance. Notarized signatures must be witnessed by Notary.

Fees may also be paid online once your account is set up or processed for renewal. 

If mailing, please send check, application, and required documentation to City of Leesburg P O Box 890 Leesburg Ga 31763. Licenses will be mailed to the address on the application.

If you will be operating the business from your home, please print the Home Occupation Affidavit along with the application.

** Please note that all licenses expire December 31 of every year. Renewal notices will be mailed.

** Any business found to be operating without a license may be subject to fines.

** If the business has been closed, sold, or otherwise no longer in operation, please send a written request to cancel the license.

** Out of State Insurance Business Licenses will be mailed upon request
